Farrell Contracts were contracted by Roadbridge UK Ltd to undertake the sub contract works for the construction of a 132kv Scottish Power sub station on the Sandyknowe wind farm project just outside New Cumnock Scotland.
Works commenced in mid March 2021 and was completed by Sept 2021 prior to energization of the wind farm project.
Works under the contract included the following elements:

• Construction of building sub structure
• Construction of building super structure
• External drainage and ducting works
• Construction of external electrical compound including fencing, electrical equipment plinths and ducting chambers and 2 x transformer bases
