Farrell Contracts were contracted by the EBOP contractor Omexom Power & Grid to carryout the sub stn civil works for the 38Kv wind farm sub stn on the Bunnyconnellan Wind Farm, Co Mayo.

Works comprised the following elements:

• Sub stn platform cut and fill works
• ESB external 38Kv compound civil works
• IPP external 38Kv compound civil works
• Sub stn building and civil works to ESB standard specification requirements

Works took place on site from Jan 19 to June 19 where the project was then handed over to the EBOP for the electrical phase of the works.
