Farrell Contracts were contracted by main contractor Roadbridge Ltd to undertake sub contract works for the civil works to 5nr AGI sites and 2nr Valve sites on the SGN high pressure gas main running from Portadown to Fivemile Town in Northern Ireland.

Works commenced in Feb 2018 and was completed March 2019

Each site required the following elements of works to be completed:

• Ducting
• Concrete RC bases
• Concrete Access Road
• Bulk Earth Works

The project is 75km in length and required a number of AGI stations along the route.

Co Ordination and programme were critical elements of the works due to other works out side our control taking place such as:

• Main line pipe installation
• AGI mechanical and electrical works
• Testing and commissioning of works in phases
